ICU RN – Travel Contract
📍 Location: United States
🕒 Nights | 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
📅 36 Hours / Week

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment caring for critically ill adult patients in a 33-bed intensive care unit.

Unit Details

33 ICU Beds
Average Daily Census: 16
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:2 – 1:3

Patient Population

Trauma
Cardiac cases
Stroke
Sepsis
Respiratory distress
Post-stent & pacemaker placement
Renal and heart failure
Substance abuse / overdose

Requirements

Active RN License
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
Experience managing ventilated ICU patients
Comfortable titrating cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips
Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips

Equipment

Ventilators
CPAP / BiPAP
High Flow Oxygen
GE Telemetry Monitoring

Schedule

12-hour Nights (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM)
Every other weekend
Travelers placed into unit schedule

Floating

May float to PCU or Med-Surg as needed.

Important Notes

Must live 50+ miles from facility
Cannot currently work for CommonSpirit / CHI / Dignity Health
Driver's license required at submission
Artificial nails not allowed in patient care areas
