Description
Shift Notes: 6:42P - 7:12A (12 Hour Nights) / 36 Hour Guarantee
Weekend Requirements: Three weekend shifts per 4 week scheduling period. (Fri and Sat)
- 2+ years of SICU Experience - [REQUIRED]
- Prior Travel Assignment History - [PREFERRED]
- Epic EMR Experience - [PREFERRED]
- MI License
- BLS, ACLS from AHA
- Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)
- ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION (Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer / Please obtain this information prior to submittal / Requests after offer can be cause for rescinded offer)
This position performs a variety of integrated pre and post-operative critical care functions, intuitively, using the nursing process while applying a broad nursing knowledge in a caring, concerned manner.
Responsibilities
(25%)* Assesses patient for physical, emotional, psych/social and family support.
(25%)* Organizes and coordinates all aspects of patient care according to the patient’s real and/or perceived needs.
(25%)* Evaluates patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge to determine if goals are being met according to the patient’s plan of care or clinical path.
(25%)* Consults and collaborates with members of the healthcare team in planning and implementing total patient care for individuals.
