Description

Department: Respiratory Therapy (RT) 

*Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, RRT or CRT & ND state lic*

 

- Types of patients (adults, peds, and neonates?): Neonatal to geriatrics - What areas do they cover (Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, Rehab, Sleep Lab, etc.): Will cover all hospital areas 

- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Need to be able to work with all populations/ages, including neonatal 

- Job Duties (ie: Do RTs draw ABGs, perform EKGs, etc.): Level IV trauma center, stroke, trauma stabilization until patient can be transferred out. Assist with mec deliveries and any complicated neonatal delivery/c-section cases, routine RT treatments on med/surg floor, assist with EKGs. Ventilated patients are transferred out. Our ER sees 60+ patients a day and we deliver an average of 58 babies a month.

- RT Equipment (Brand for Vents, Cpap, Bipap, High Flow): Airvo, PB 840 Vent, PB 980 Vent, LVT 1200 portable vent, Hamilton G-5, V-60 Respironics, BirdBlenders
