Travel RN – ICU | Level 1 Trauma Center | Nights

We are seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses (RN) to join a 20-bed combined Medical, Surgical, and Cardiac ICU in a Level 1 Trauma hospital.

Openings: 6
Shift: Rotating (Primarily Nights)
Ratios: 1:2
Charting: Cerner

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required
• DE RN License or Compact License
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required

Unit Details

• 20-bed ICU in a 202-bed hospital
• Combined Medical, Surgical & Cardiac ICU
• Nurse-to-patient ratio 1:2

Patient Population

• Respiratory distress / COPD
• Cardiac arrest
• Post cardiac procedures (PCI, CABG)
• Stroke / seizures
• DKA
• Overdose cases
• Post-surgical ICU patients

Required ICU Skills

• Ventilator management
• Arterial lines
• Central line management
• CVP monitoring
• Swan-Ganz monitoring

Floating

Travelers may float to PACU if needed.
