Description

Work Schedule

10-hour day shifts
Monday–Friday workweek
Weekly schedule depends on unit needs
On-call required for:
- After-hours
- Weekends

Location Requirement

The nurse must live at least 100 miles away from the facility.
This rule is common for travel nurse contracts so that the worker qualifies as a traveler rather than a local hire.

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
Current RN license in the state or district of the job
CVOR experience – minimum 2 years
Certifications required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Experience Type

CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience means assisting in surgeries such as:
- Heart bypass
- Valve replacement
- Other cardiac procedures
