Travel Emergency Department RN (ED RN)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for a travel assignment in a high-volume Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care skills and experience treating patients across all age groups, including pediatric cases.

Shift Details

  • Shift: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM
  • Scheduling: Block scheduling is not guaranteed
  • Floating: May be required
  • Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Travel Requirements

  • Candidates must live 75 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel
  • Local candidates (<75 miles) will be considered at a local pay rate
  • Travel experience required

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
  • Some pediatric ED experience required
  • Active New York RN License (NURSYS verification required)
  • Current AHA Certifications:
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • PALS
  • NIHSS Certification
  • TNCC – Required
  • Experience with EPIC EMR – Required
  • 2 recent ED RN Charge Nurse or Manager references required
  • Driver’s license matching candidate demographics
  • Skills checklist matching specialty
  • RTO must be included at time of submission

  • Pressors: Levophed, Neosynephrine, Epinephrine, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine
  • Vasodilators: Cleviprex, Cardene, Nitroglycerin
  • Antiarrhythmics: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lidocaine
  • Sedation: Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl
  • Other: TNK, Heparin, Insulin

Preferred

  • Charge Nurse capability highly preferred
