Job Title: LPN Corrections (Local)

Location: Clayton, AL
Regular Pay: $38 - $40/hr
Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm 
Days: Any 5 days a week, including every other weekend if required
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks with the possibility of extension)

Position Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable LPN with the ability to remain calm under pressure. The LPN will be responsible for monitoring patients, performing routine checks, and assisting doctors and nurses. To be successful as an LPN you should be able to take direction and work well in stressful situations. A good LPN has great observational skills and empathy for patients while remaining professional.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor, record, and report changes in patient conditions to appropriate healthcare providers.
• Assist with wound care, specimen collection, and routine nursing procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards.

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted certification/licensure as an LPN
• 1 year of experience required - LPN
• BLS from AHA.
• COVID card or Medical / Religious Exemption.
