Description

Position: RN – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)
Facility: Adventist Health and Rideout
Location: 726 4th St, Marysville, CA 95901
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evening Shift, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift, Weekend as needed

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly

Start Date: 03/30/2026

PR: $32/Hour on W2 + $1242/Weekly

Gross Weekly: $2650

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care to surgical patients.
Monitor patient recovery from anesthesia and surgical procedures.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on physician orders and patient needs.
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Educate patients and families regarding recovery and discharge instructions.
Ensure adherence to patient safety and clinical protocols.
Delegate appropriate tasks to nursing staff based on competence and scope of practice.

Requirements

Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required
For PACU / Same Day Surgery Units:
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Required within 1 year of hire
IV Sedation Competency – Required within 6 months of hire
