Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – ICU / Stepdown
Location: Morristown, NJ 
Department: Simon 2 NV Stepdown (High Acuity SDU)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift – 3x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours: 36 hours per week
 

Pay Package

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,651
• Weekly Stipend (Meals & Lodging): $1,561
• W2 Hourly Rate: $30.30/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and deliver appropriate care across all age groups from pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Provide direct patient care while demonstrating strong clinical and critical care nursing skills.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress in the patient chart.
• Demonstrate competency in emergency procedures and critical care equipment.
• Ensure compliance with National Patient Safety Goals, including patient identification and universal safety protocols.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to prioritize and coordinate patient care.
• Maintain professional conduct and patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Use safe patient handling techniques and proper body mechanics.
• Participate actively in the patient care team to ensure high-quality care and positive patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License
• BLS Certification (Required)
• ACLS Certification (Required)
• Minimum 1 year ICU experience (Required)

Education

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
