Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location: Morristown, NJ

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks 
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 Hours per Week | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Weekly Compensation

• Gross Weekly Pay: $3,037
• Weekly Stipend (Meals & Lodging): $1,561
• W2 Hourly Rate: $41/hr

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and provide care appropriate to patients across the lifespan.
• Deliver safe and effective nursing care to laboring patients in accordance with hospital policies and standards.
• Demonstrate strong clinical competency in obstetric and emergency care procedures.
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and respond appropriately to changes in patient status.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient documentation in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, care plans, and post-delivery instructions.
• Ensure compliance with National Patient Safety Goals and hospital safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize emergency equipment and respond appropriately in critical situations.
• Maintain professionalism while supporting patient satisfaction and maintaining confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – Required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience, preferably in a high-risk, large hospital environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing – Required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
