MICU RN - Omaha, NE- 13 week travel contract

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience at a large, urban hospital.
• Proficient in EPIC charting and managing drips on all floors.
• BLS, ACLS & NIHSS
• Flexibility to float within the scope of various units, including the MICU and potentially within other specialized floors.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30).
• Valid RN license; pending licenses accepted if in hand within 6 weeks of booking.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in a teaching hospital or Level I Academic Medical Center.
• Prior experience with complex medical cases such as liver failure or overdoses.
• Strong teamwork skills, including collaboration with care techs, paramedics, and transport teams.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• At least 2 years of recent critical care experience in a large, urban hospital.
• Epic charting experience.

Other Requirements:

• Must be willing to work 4 weekend shifts out of 8, including holidays.
• Candidates must be more than 100 miles from facility; local candidates are not accepted.
• RTO requests of up to two weeks are permitted; RTO must be submitted with application.
• First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have 2 years of ICU experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center.
• Must work two of three major holidays.
• Mandatory scrubs: Steele gray with Nebraska Medicine logo.
• Parking permit or daily rate available.
