Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a long-term care facility provides direct nursing care to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. The LPN works under the supervision of an RN or physician and helps manage residents’ daily healthcare needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor residents’ vital signs and health conditions
• Assist with daily patient care and support activities of daily living
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Communicate with physicians, RNs, and healthcare team regarding resident status
• Respond to medical emergencies and changes in condition
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations

Requirements:

• Active LPN license
• Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
