Description

Respiratory Therapist needed in Lawton, OK for a hospital based assignment. You will provide respiratory care for adult patients across Med Surg, Tele, Stepdown, and ED as needed, including breathing treatments, oxygen titration, ABGs, ventilator support within scope, and airway management support. You will work closely with nursing and providers to assess changes in respiratory status, respond to rapid responses and codes when required, and ensure safe, timely respiratory interventions. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and comfort in a fast paced environment are important.

Active Respiratory Therapist credential required (RRT preferred, CRT considered if facility allows) Active OK RT license required BLS required (ACLS preferred depending on facility) Recent acute care hospital experience required Comfortable with common RT skills: nebs, suctioning, ABGs, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow, oxygen titration, and ventilator support per policy Must be able to pass background, drug screen, and complete all facility compliance items on time Flexibility with scheduling, including weekends and holidays as needed
