Description

Travel RN – IMCU/PCU

📍 Location: Boston, MA
🏥 Facility: Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH)
📅 Start Date: Weekly Starts – Every Monday
📄 Contract Length: 8 Weeks

Shift Details

  • Shift: 12 Hour Nights
  • Schedule: 36 hours/week
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
    • Nights: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Floating: Required
    • Floating may occur in 4-hour blocks during shift
    • Possible float areas include:
      • ED Holds
      • Inpatient Holds
      • PACU
      • Other boarding units

Patient Ratios

  • 1:3 – 1:5

Required Experience

  • Must have experience titrating pressors (REQUIRED – include in profile write-up)
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
    • If no travel experience, Level 1 Trauma experience is required

Required Certifications

  • BLS – AHA (Required)
  • ACLS – AHA (Preferred)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – Preferred

Testing Requirements

  • Day 1 Pass/Fail Testing
  • Relias practice tests available before start

Submission Requirements

  • BILH Coversheet required at time of submission
  • Must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months
    • Applies to perm, per diem, or previous contract employees
  • IVS submission to manager for approval

Additional Information

  • Travelers must be comfortable floating across units as needed.
  • Strong critical care skills and adaptability are required.
