Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations.
Operate specialized imaging equipment including Hologic Mammography systems, Volpara MRS system, and GE Dexa machine.
Position patients properly and ensure accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
Educate patients on mammography procedures and ensure comfort during examinations.
Maintain compliance with radiation safety and quality assurance standards.
Document procedures and patient information accurately in the radiology system.
Follow department protocols and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams.

Requirements:

Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology – Required
ARRT (R) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography – Required
ARRT (M) – Mammography Certification – Required
California Radiologic Technologist License – Required
Mammographic Radiologic Technology (MRT) Certification – Required
BLS Certification – Required

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a Mammography Technologist
Fluoroscopy License (California)
Venipuncture Certification
