Job Description

• Provide nursing care on Adult Medical and Adult Surgical units.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments, vital signs, medication administration (including IVs and blood), and point-of-care testing.
• Use equipment such as telemetry, vein viewers, bladder scanner, and electronic charting systems.
• Float between Adult Medical and Adult Surgical units.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio approximately 1:5, supported by LPNs and CNAs for vital signs and daily living assistance.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical Nursing.
• Pediatric experience required.
• Current Indiana RN license or compact RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred but not mandatory.
• At least 6 months of previous travel nursing experience required.

Additional Information

• Dress code: Any color scrubs (no blue jeans), closed-toe shoes with heels, neat appearance, earrings only (no other piercings), long hair pulled back.
• Orientation provided on unit with hands-on preceptor training.
• May require floating to other units/departments within the facility.
