Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Hanford, California. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in an acute care medical-surgical unit while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

This position is Auto Offer, allowing for a faster hiring process for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients in an acute care setting
Perform patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans
Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and patient responses to treatments
Administer medications and IV therapies according to physician orders
Document patient care and progress accurately in the electronic medical record system
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience
Must have worked in Med-Surg within the last 3 months
Experience in acute care hospital settings
