Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in dementia patients and behavioral disturbances to work in a behavioral health unit focused on geriatric patients (50+). The unit has 24 beds with a patient ratio of 1:7. This role involves working primarily with dementia patients exhibiting behavioral disturbances.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
• Minimum 1 year of Behavioral Health nursing experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Must be able to pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to assignment start

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience working with dementia patients exhibiting behavioral disturbances
• Calm demeanor and ability to work well with others

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs bi-weekly on Mondays
• Dress Code: Solid color scrubs; facial piercings are not allowed
• No call or float requirements for this position

Important Notes

• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
• All required certifications must be obtained prior to start date
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
