Job Overview for Healthcare Recruiters and Workers
Position Details
- Specialty: Surgical Services
- Location: Greenville, South Carolina
- Facility: Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 4x10 Days
- Call Requirement: At least two days of call each week and 1-2 weekends every 6-week schedule depending on the need.
Qualifications
- Certifications Required:
- Certificate from NBSTSA
- CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)
- CSFA (Certified First Assistant)
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant role.
- Pending License: Not accepted.
- RTO Restrictions: All RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on facility's needs.
Additional Information
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
- Local Candidates: Accepted at a reduced rate if under 100 miles from the facility.
- Parking: Free parking available.
Floating Policy
- Agency staff must float to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses as requested due to census concerns. Staff will only float to units they are qualified for and performing tasks for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented.

- Vaccination Records (including Flu, Tetanus, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella)
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- Background Check: 7-year criminal check required.
Compliance and Training
- Cornerstone Modules: Must be completed prior to start.
- Pass/Fail Testing: Required for certain roles.
- Annual Training: Must be updated annually and cannot expire within 90 days of start.
