Custom Healthcare Solutions is currently hiring an experienced Endoscopy Nurse Manager on behalf of a hospital in Far Rockaway, New York. This is a 13-week contract opportunity with potential for extension.

The Endoscopy Nurse Manager will oversee the leadership, coordination, and management of nursing services within the Endoscopy Unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient workflow.

Endoscopy Nurse Manager (RN) Job Description:

This role requires a strong clinical leader with endoscopy experience, operating room experience, and prior management experience.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Includes 24/7 unit oversight

Additional details:

• The manager must be present when the unit opens and remain until cases are completed
• The endoscopy unit is currently open two days per week
• When the unit is closed, the manager will assist in the main operating room as needed

Endoscopy Nurse Manager (RN) Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Staff Management

• Supervise and manage nursing staff within the endoscopy department
• Support hiring, staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Foster a collaborative team environment focused on high-quality patient care

Clinical & Patient Care Oversight

• Oversee the delivery of safe, patient-centered endoscopy services
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
• Monitor patient outcomes and support quality improvement initiatives

Operational Management

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission, and regulatory standards
• Maintain departmental policies, procedures, and documentation
• Oversee equipment maintenance, inventory, and supply ordering
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams

Financial & Operational Support

• Assist with departmental budgeting and resource management
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost-effective practices
