Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures including open heart and vascular cases.
Prepare operating rooms with appropriate instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
Monitor patients and maintain sterile surgical environments during procedures.
Support surgeons and surgical teams during cardiac and vascular operations.
Provide general operating room support when CV cases are not scheduled.
Document patient care and surgical details using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Float within the facility or to nearby sites within a 40-mile radius as needed based on staffing requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience – Required
EPIC EMR experience – Required
Ability to perform general OR cases when CV procedures are not scheduled
Prior travel nursing experience – Required
