Description

Travel RN – ICU (Critical Care)

📍 Location: Concord, New Hampshire
🏥 Facility: Concord Hospital
📄 Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Typical Travel Contract)
🕒 Shift: Days – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Hours: 36 hours per week

Unit

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Job Overview

Concord Hospital is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse with strong critical care skills to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to work independently, manage complex patient cases, and adapt quickly to unit needs.

Required Experience

  • 2–3 years of ICU experience required
  • Candidates with closer to 2 years must demonstrate strong independence and critical thinking
  • CVICU experience highly preferred (please highlight on resume if applicable)
  • Must have experience managing high-acuity patients and working in fast-paced ICU environments
  • First-time travelers will NOT be considered

Equipment Experience

Candidates should have experience with:

  • Balloon Pumps
  • CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
  • Impella
  • ICP Monitoring
  • Arctic Sun / TTM Management
  • Alaris Pumps
  • Rapid Infuser

Floating Requirements

Floating is required and may include:

  • Emergency Department (ED)
  • Stepdown Unit
  • Med Surg (with modified assignments)
  • Behavioral Health (potentially)

Travelers may also float to other system facilities:

  • Concord Hospital – Laconia, NH
  • Concord Hospital – Franklin, NH

Certifications

Required:

  • BLS – AHA
  • ACLS – AHA
  • Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License

Preferred:

  • TNCC
  • PALS
  • CCRN

EMR

  • Cerner experience preferred (not required)

Submission Requirements

  • Updated resume reflecting 2–3 years ICU experience
  • 2 recent specialty references (Charge RN or Nurse Manager)
  • ICU Skills Checklist
  • Driver’s license matching candidate demographics
  • Active RN license verification
  • RTO must be included at time of submission

Local Candidates

  • Local candidates accepted within 50 miles
  • Local rate will apply
