Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to assist physicians with complex and invasive cardiovascular procedures. The role includes supporting a variety of cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures while ensuring efficient lab operations and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Support procedures such as coronary stenting, angioplasty (PTCA), atherectomy, carotid angiogram, renal angiogram, peripheral angioplasty, and triple lumen catheter placement.
• Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment and sterile field.
• Monitor patient status during procedures.
• Perform lab administrative tasks and manage supply inventory.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required.
• 2 years of full-time Invasive Cardiovascular Technology experience preferred.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

One of the following preferred:

• Associate Degree or 62 semester hours in health/science-related field with 1 year Invasive Cardiovascular Technology experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in health/science-related field with 6 months Invasive Cardiovascular Technology experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program.
• Graduate of a non-accredited program with minimum 1 year specialty training and 800 clinical hours.
