- General Information
- # of Treatment Areas:
- 3 Adult ICUs
- Cardiac Critical Care Unit
- Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department
- Intermediate Care Unit
- General Medical Floors
- Level III NICU & PICU (not required to train to NICU/PICU/Peds unless position is posted for this area specifically
- Minimum experience required: 2+ years as Respiratory Therapist – must be RRT (Registered RT)
- Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
- # of Treatment Areas:
- Patient Types (Common Diagnoses):
- COPD, CHF, Cystic Fibrosis, ARDS, MVA Trauma/Surgery, Pneumonia, Lung CA, Stroke, ALS, GBS, COVID19, RSV
- Required Certifications:
- All Therapists must have their RRT – no CRTs or Respiratory Technicians will be accepted – no exceptions
- Adult only RT: BLS & ACLS (required)
- NICU/PICU/Peds RT: BLS & NRP (required); PALS (preferred)
- Skills required:
- If position is posted for NICU/PICU/Peds RT – traveler must have previous NICU/PICU experience as well as Adult experience – Experience with Oscillator 3100 Sensormatic and Drager ventilator would be helpful for candidates to be successful
- Please confirm traveler is comfortable working with Adults if the posting is for NICU/PICU/Peds as this will be required throughout contract – please include in offer details
- Very critical care focused and protocol-driven RT team.
- Critical care experience including airway and ventilator management, ABG puncture and analysis, Non-invasive ventilation, code blue and rapid response experience, inhaled medication administration.
- If position is posted for NICU/PICU/Peds RT – traveler must have previous NICU/PICU experience as well as Adult experience – Experience with Oscillator 3100 Sensormatic and Drager ventilator would be helpful for candidates to be successful

- Servo U, Servo I, Hamilton T1, Trilogy, V60, V30, EV300
- (Drager for NICU Only)
- Vero Biotech Nitric Delivery
- Support within the Department:
- Lead/Charge
- Manager
- Assistant Manager
- RT Educator
- Medical Director
- Charting System:
- Cerner
- Floating Required:
- Float to other trained units only
- Orientation:
- 1 general orientation shift with RT Educator
- 1 shift per each unit trained to (generally 4-5 shifts)
- Scheduling:
- Shift Times: 0645-1915 Day shift and 1845-0715 Night shift
- If contract is posted for Variable shifts – Traveler may work Days or Nights.
- Per manager, most needs are on Nights. The traveler will not be required to flip back and forth within 1 week at the present time.
- Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
- Will they be on call? Voluntary call only - 2 hours before shift start time and 2 hours after
- Holiday Expectations: As assigned unless RTO is in contract.
- RTO: Must go through Manager for approval
- Other notes?
- Scrub Color: Any scrub color or pattern as long as it’s professional. Also offer access to OR scrub machines.
- Free Parking? Yes, free on-site parking.
