- Monday through Friday
- Eight-hour shifts
- 40 hours/week

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team in Pleasant Prairie, WI. This vital role coordinates and delivers perioperative care using the nursing process and clinical best practices. The RN will support surgical procedures, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure optimal outcomes for patients undergoing surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in the OR.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to support surgical interventions.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of surgical equipment and instruments.
- Maintain sterile field and enforce aseptic techniques.
- Recognize emergencies and act promptly to initiate appropriate interventions.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in orientation and mentoring of new nursing staff or students.
- Uphold hospital and unit-specific standards of care and professional practice.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment.
Schedule & Work Hours:
- Monday through Friday (Variable shift start and end times)
- 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week guaranteed
- On-call hours required with a 30-minute response time to the facility
Required Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Active RN License in the State of Wisconsin
- Current BLS and/or CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross (or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and patient care coordination skills
- Physical ability and manual dexterity to operate patient care equipment
