Description

Position: Clinical Dietitian

Contract & Schedule:

Duration: 13 weeks
Work Days: Monday – Friday
No weekends, on-call, or holiday work

Requirements:

Registered Dietitian required
Previous hospital experience required – must be able to hit the ground running
Locals accepted
First-time travelers accepted

Education / Licensing / Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Food & Nutrition with completion of a Dietetic Internship (Master’s degree preferred)
Registration as a Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (must be completed within 3 months if eligible)
Licensed to practice dietetics in the state of Ohio
Minimum 1 year hospital experience as RD or LD preferred
Specialty certifications in Nutrition Support, Renal, Oncology, Gerontology, or Diabetes Education desirable
Competency in nutritional care of patients including age-specific, learning, and cultural/religious needs
Adherence to the standards of professional practice as defined by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
