Shift: 8-Hour Days | 40 Hours Guaranteed

Base Bill Rate: Pricing Negotiations Permitted (Note: Local rate is less if within 50 miles)

Job Summary:

Seeking a versatile Ultrasound Technologist to support both the Everett and Cambridge hospital campuses. This role requires a high degree of flexibility, as you will rotate between facilities to provide diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced community hospital setting. You will be responsible for a wide range of studies, including general, small parts, and vascular ultrasound, while participating in a rotating weekend and holiday on-call schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Site Imaging: Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams at both Cambridge and Everett hospitals, adapting to different clinical workflows and patient populations.
• General & Vascular Studies: Conduct abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, and small parts scans. Proficiency in vascular imaging (DVT studies, Carotids) is essential.
• Contrast Administration: Utilize IV skills to administer contrast agents during specialized studies (preferred).
• Patient Care: Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, explaining the process and obtaining relevant clinical history.
• Call Coverage: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for weekends and holidays (typically 08:00 – 16:00).
• Documentation: Use Epic for all EMR documentation and image archiving in PACS.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of professional sonography experience.
• Certification: Active ARDMS or RDCS certification is required.
• EMR Proficiency: Epic experience is required.
• Life Support: Current AHA BLS certification.
• Preferred Skills: IV certification and experience with contrast agents.
• Submission Essentials: * Up-to-date resume and skills checklist.
  • 2 recent Manager/Supervisor references from matching specialties.
  • Driver’s license address must match submission demographics.

Unit & Facility Details:

• Primary Units: Ultrasound departments at Everett (103 Garland St) & Hospitals
• Floating: Mandatory floating between the two campuses is required.
• Holidays: Must work every other major holiday.
• Scrubs: Any color scrub is acceptable.
• Local Policy: Locals within 50 miles are accepted but at a lower rate.

Financial & Logistics Notes

• Overtime: Weekly OT after 40 hours.
• RTO: All requested time off must be included in the initial submission; no post-confirmation guarantees.
• First-Time Travelers: CHA is willing to accept first-time travelers with strong experience.
