Note: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program with at least 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience in a clinical setting.
High knowledge of radiation oncology procedures, radiation physics, positioning, etc.
Knowledge of Joint Commission, Title 17, Code of Federal Regulations, and Title 22 requirements as well as Radiation Safety, Safety, and Hospital and Department Standards.
Ability to operate the radiation therapy equipment, linear accelerators, simulators, and computers safely and accurately, treatment devices, quality assurance tools and other equipment for the delivery of radiation treatments.
Exhibits excellent critical thinking skills (problem solving, organization, analysis, inference/reasoning, effective communication, decision-making, open-minded, and creative).
