Travel MRI Technologist – Rochester, NY

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Gross Pay: $2,984/week

Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Position Overview

A high‑acuity imaging department in Rochester, NY is seeking an experienced Travel MRI Technologist to support afternoon/evening operations. This role is ideal for a tech with strong trauma and pediatric experience who can perform confidently in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Requirements

• Active ARRT (MR)
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License with injection privileges
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• Current BLS
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Pediatric MRI experience required
• Strong technical proficiency and ability to work independently on evening shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality MRI exams for adult and pediatric patients
• Support trauma imaging needs in a Level I environment
• Ensure accurate patient positioning, safety, and documentation
• Administer contrast per NY injection privileges
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and clinical teams to maintain efficient workflow
• Maintain equipment readiness and follow all MRI safety protocols
