RN – Facility & Policy Summary
Facility Overview:
225-bed specialty care hospital offering services in Heart & Vascular, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatrics, Women’s Health, and Pediatrics.
Known for advanced imaging, surgery, and laboratory services.
Orientation: Bi-weekly.
Location:
Marquette
Located in the central region of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Largest community in the peninsula and home to Northern Michigan University.
Candidates must live 60+ miles away to qualify as a traveler.
Attendance Policy (UPHS-Marquette):
2nd Absence: Formal warning issued through the agency.
3rd Absence: Contract termination unless otherwise approved by the unit leader.
Make-Up Shifts: Required to maintain contracted hours.
Important Note:
The facility will not be responsible for early termination fees if a contract ends due to attendance issues or violations of professional conduct standards.
