Description
Pediatric Psychiatric RN – Travel Contract
📍 St. Louis Children's Hospital – St. Louis, Missouri
📅 Contract Length: 12 weeks
Schedule:
- Night Shift (primarily)
- 3×12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Candidate should be open to rotating shifts if needed
Unit:
- Pediatric Behavioral Health Unit (PBHU)
- Behavioral Health Emergency Department (ED 50s)
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to pediatric psychiatric patients in inpatient behavioral health settings
- May float between PBHU and Behavioral Health ED
- RN may occasionally be assigned as a 1:1 patient observer to support unit staffing needs
- Work with interdisciplinary team to manage behavioral health crises and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Pediatric psychiatric / behavioral health experience preferred
- Experience with Epic Systems electronic health record (EPIC)
- BLS Certification
- CPI Certification
- CPI Blue Card
