Job Description: A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is a healthcare professional who evaluates, diagnoses, and treats individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. SLPs work with patients of all ages—from children with developmental speech delays to adults recovering from injuries or illnesses that affect communication and swallowing.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.</li><li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.</li><li>Provide therapy to improve communication, speech clarity, and language skills.</li><li>Help patients with swallowing difficulties learn safe eating and drinking techniques.</li><li>Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans when needed.</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.</li><li>Educate patients and families about therapy strategies and home exercises.</li></ul>
