Need Specifics: Specialty: Child and Adolescent Residential Psych experience...Shift: M-F 2pm-10pm ....Weekend scheduling: no...EMR: care logic - training onsite available... Required Certifications: BLS. CPI blue (CPI can be obtained at facility if they don't currently have this)....Years of Experience: 1-2 years psych experience....Any additional details, specific skills required This is a behavioral heath nursing position. Most of the duties involve monitoring the needs of youth in residential care, passing meds, rounding with the physician and assisting with physical or chemical restraints when needed with the accompanying documentation. Because the nurses are not supervisors they need to coordinate with rather than direct or manage the direct care staff. This is sometimes very different than what nurses have experienced in a hospital setting. It is not a big issue for many, but some nurses are not familiar with or comfortable working in that situation so we would prefer to be upfront about it. AM: Jenn Hesse
