SIMPLIFI CLINICAL INTERVIEWS
UNIT: DIALYSIS
Certs Required: BLS. (ACLS preferred)
Experience Required: 2 years acute inpatient preferred, will take mix of in/outpatient if majority is inpatient. Independent operation of hemodialysis treatments, accessing AV fistulas and grafts, managing dialysis catheters, managing anticoagulation, fluid removal and hemodynamic monitoring, troubleshooting dialysis alarms; NO CRRT; experience with TABLO dialysis machines preferred.
Will you accept a first-time traveler? only if has 5+ years experience
EMR: EPIC
Floating: to inpatient units as Helping-Hands if dialysis volume is low
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: AKI, ESRD, fluid overload, electrolyte imbalance, sepsis, post-op patient, critically ill ICU patient requiring intermittent dialysis.
Scrub color: any solid color, professional
Parking: free in designated areas; paid also available
388 total bed level III trauma center with 4 Dialysis bays; avg 8 – 13 pts/day total in department
