Pride Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Fernley, NV 89408. This is a 13-week contract with potential for extension. Locals and Travelers accepted!

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide non-complex therapeutic exercises, massage, traction, heat, cold, water, and electrical modalities.
• Accurately document patient status and submit all clinical paperwork in a timely manner.
• Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and progress.
• Apply infection control and universal precaution standards during all patient care activities.
• Monitor and report equipment issues, supply needs, or changes in patient condition to supervising staff.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in department in-services, staff meetings, and continuing education.
• Manage scheduling and perform occasional office-related tasks.
• Maintain compliance with payer requirements and organizational policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Home Health experience and familiarity with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance

• Location: Fernley, NV 89408
• Float required.
• Schedule: 40 hours/week - Days
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Gross weekly: $1,886
• W2 hourly (Taxable): $16
• Stipend Weekly (Non - Taxable): $1246
• Local pay - $30 - $36/hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
