Travel RN – IMCU / PCU (Intermediate Care Unit) – Night Shift

Location: New York
Unit: IMCU / Stepdown
Shift: Nights – 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Schedule: Block scheduling is not guaranteed
Floating: Required as needed
Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IMCU / PCU Travel Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity intermediate care unit caring for adult patients with complex medical conditions. The unit treats patients requiring stepdown-level monitoring including cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and post-operative care.

The nurse will work with advanced equipment and collaborate with respiratory therapy and interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.

Total Beds: 64 beds
Neuro Beds: 15 designated neuro beds
Patient Population: Adults (18+)

Vent Experience

Chronic ventilator patients (unable to wean)
Respiratory Therapy support available

Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of IMCU or PCU experience
Travel experience required
Active New York RN License
Epic EMR experience required

Certifications

AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
NIHSS

Additional Information

Locals accepted (within 75 miles – local rate applies)
Floating may occur to other units based on facility needs.
