Description

⏰ Shift

Day Shift
Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts
Time: 07:30 AM – 06:00 PM
Days: Monday – Friday
Weekend: Saturday rotation required
Floating: May float to other departments within the main campus.

🩺 Responsibilities:

Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms.
Conduct 3-D mammography (tomosynthesis) imaging.
Operate Hologic 3D mammography equipment.
Position patients correctly for breast imaging procedures.
Ensure image quality and accuracy for radiologist interpretation.
Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy during exams.
Document procedures in Epic charting system (preferred).
Follow radiation safety protocols and quality control procedures.
Assist radiologists with additional breast imaging procedures if required.
Handle a daily caseload of ~150 patients along with the team.

📋 Requirements: 🎓 Experience: Minimum: 1.5 years (screened) Preferred: 2+ years Mammography Tech experience 📜 Required Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) ARRT (R) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists California Mammography Radiologic Technologist License (must be active at submission) ⭐ Preferred Certification ARRT (M) – Mammography certification 💻 Technical Requirements Experience with Epic charting system (preferred) 🧪 Required Skills 3-D Mammography (Tomosynthesis) Diagnostic Mammograms Screening Mammograms Experience using Hologic 3D mammography equipment 💉 Vaccination Requirement Flu Vaccine: Required (No exemptions) COVID-19 Vaccine:
