Description
Minimum Qualifications:
Required
- Graduate of an AMA approved school for respiratory care, or nursing
- Montana Licensure (Respiratory Therapist) or Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
- American Heart Association BLS
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT)
Preferred
- Minimum of 24 months experience in sleep disorder testing with routine EEG preferred.
- Requires self-directed individual with ability to act independently under minimal supervision.
Essential Job Functions:
In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.
- Sets up and monitors sleep disorders tests.
- Assists and educates patients in sleep disorder diagnosis, equipment and treatment.
- May be required to scores and evaluates polysomnograms.
- Acts as primary contact in providing physicians, patients and Outreach accounts with diagnostic information and consultation regarding all aspects of sleep disorders.

- Self-directed, completes assignments accurately, thoroughly and with minimal oversight
Schedule Requirements
- This role requires regular and sustained attendance.
- The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
- On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.
