Minimum Qualifications:

Required

• Graduate of an AMA approved school for respiratory care, or nursing
• Montana Licensure (Respiratory Therapist) or Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
• American Heart Association BLS
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT)

Preferred

• Minimum of 24 months experience in sleep disorder testing with routine EEG preferred.
• Requires self-directed individual with ability to act independently under minimal supervision.

Essential Job Functions:

In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.

• Sets up and monitors sleep disorders tests.
• Assists and educates patients in sleep disorder diagnosis, equipment and treatment.
• May be required to scores and evaluates polysomnograms.
• Acts as primary contact in providing physicians, patients and Outreach accounts with diagnostic information and consultation regarding all aspects of sleep disorders.

Schedule Requirements

• This role requires regular and sustained attendance.
• The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
• On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.
