Description:
Seeking an experienced PA to support the open-heart surgery program in Oceanside, New York. The role includes surgical assistance, patient care, and collaboration with the cardiovascular team in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in cardiothoracic surgeries and vessel harvesting
• Perform patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Order medications and diagnostic tests
• Document care using EMR systems
• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams

Qualifications:

• NYS Physician Assistant License & NCCPA Certification
• BLS & ACLS required
• Recent OR experience (cardiothoracic preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Working Hours:
🕒 Full-time – 12.5-hour flexible shifts
📅 Schedule rotation may include 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, or 5 shifts
🌙 “N” indicates night shifts
