Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Certifications Requirements: Current Texas PTA license, CPR certification, BLS certification.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy assistant services to patients in accordance with treatment plans and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment provided, and outcomes in electronic health records.
• Assist in patient assessments, including measuring progress and reporting changes to supervising therapists.
• Execute therapy exercises and patient education to promote recovery and enhance functional independence.
