Job Overview

ND Global Consulting Services, Inc. (NDGCS) is seeking a qualified and dependable Respiratory Therapist for a temporary hospital assignment at Welch Community Hospital in Welch, West Virginia.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced respiratory care professional with acute care experience and current West Virginia licensure. The selected candidate will provide respiratory therapy services in a hospital setting, support cardiopulmonary care, perform diagnostic procedures, and document patient care in accordance with physician orders and facility requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by physicians • Provide cardiopulmonary care and life support to patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary deficiencies

• Monitor patient response and communicate findings to the appropriate clinical team

• Perform diagnostic procedures related to pulmonary and cardiovascular function

• Document all patient care accurately and timely in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and clinical protocols

• Participate in quality improvement and CQI activities

• Maintain professional communication with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of a COARC-approved Respiratory Therapy program

• Minimum Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy

• Current West Virginia Respiratory Therapy License

• Current CPR Certification

• Current PALS Certification

• Current ACLS Certification

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience

Work Hours / Schedule

• Schedule will be assigned by the facility based on operational needs

• Anticipated weekly hours and assignment duration will be provided by the facility

• Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime

• All shifts over 6 hours include an unpaid 30-minute lunch break

• Standard 8-hour shifts include 7.5 working hours and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
