Job Opportunity: Mammography Technologist (Temporary)

Location: Bay City, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Perform high-quality breast imaging (mammograms) using specialized equipment.
Focus on patient care, positioning, radiation safety, and producing images for radiologist interpretation.
Handle equipment maintenance, quality assurance (QA/QC), and record-keeping to meet regulatory standards such as MQSA.
Guide patients through screening and diagnostic procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
May assist with other breast imaging procedures such as ultrasound or biopsies.
May be required to float to different locations within the area.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in Mammography.
ARRT (M) Certification (Mammography).
Experience with bone density imaging.

Additional Information

Position is day shift.
Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between locations.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
