Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Winchester, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit and Facility Overview
- ICU with 10 beds
- Trauma Level III
- Patient population primarily adults (18+), with rare pediatric post-op patients
- Patient ratio: 1:2
- Equipment includes Baxter pump, GE bedside monitor, Arjo beds
- Electronic Health Record system: Meditech
Position Details

Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, including ICU experience within the last year
- Certifications required prior to start: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
- Skills/Experience:
- Advanced hemodynamic monitoring
- Ventilator management
- Vasoactive drips
Common Diagnoses/Treatments
- COPD exacerbation
- Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA)
- Atrial fibrillation
- Pre/post heart catheterization care
- Septic shock
Additional Information
- Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
- Dress code: Any color scrubs allowed; street clothes or apparel with outside hospital names are not permitted
