Description
Job Title: - Echocardiographer (Cardiac Sonographer)
Location: - South Weymouth, MA
Job Type: - 13-week contract
Shifts: Day shift 4x9s weekdays & weekends
Guaranteed Hours (Weekly): 36 hours guaranteed
Minimum Education:
At least a (2) two-year Echocardiography accredited program including technical and clinical training culminating in an associate degree or higher.
Minimum Work Experience:
At least (1) one to (2) two years' experience preferred
Required Certifications:
RDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)) or RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Required Classes/Skills:
BLS - Basic Life Support
Required additional Knowledge and Abilities:
-Ability to demonstrate competency in echocardiography.
-Must be able to recognize abnormal structure and be able to correlate this information into a useful study.
-Must be able to deviate from normal techniques, when necessary, to develop new techniques.
-Must be able to utilize ancillary devices, i.e., selected transducers
