📍 Facility Rules
- Radius Rule: Must live 50+ miles away
- Driver’s License required at submission (used to verify radius)
📝 Orientation Requirement
- Open-book exam during orientation (Friday)
- Based on skills/resources provided
- Must score 90% to pass
- If not passed → contract termination

Patient Ratio: 2:1
Common Patient Types
- Sepsis
- Respiratory Failure
- Stroke
- Myocardial Infarction (MI)

🎓 Experience Requirements
- 2+ years ICU experience preferred
- Travel experience preferred

- Ventilator management

- IV Drips
- Critical care monitoring
Drips RNs Must Titrate
- Vasopressors
- Sedation drips

👥 Unit Support
- Charge Nurse: Yes (also takes assignment)
- Nurse Aids: No
- Hospitalist: In house 24/7
- Intensivist:
- In house during day
- Telemedicine coverage at night
Respiratory Therapy
- Shared with ER
- Handles vent adjustments
Tele Monitoring
- Centralized monitor techs (off-site)
- Nurses must be able to read & verify strips
Monitor Brand: Draeger
⏰ Schedule
- Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend: Every 3rd weekend
- Holiday: July 4th required
- Call: None
