Description:
Join a dedicated urology team providing comprehensive care for patients with urological conditions. The Physician Assistant will work closely with urologists in outpatient clinics, inpatient rounds, and procedural support to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- 🩺 Conduct patient evaluations, histories, and physical exams
- 📊 Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, urinalysis)
- ⚕️ Assist with minor office procedures (catheter placement, bladder scans, cystoscopy support)
- 🏥 Participate in inpatient rounds and patient consultations
- 📝 Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- 🤝 Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
Qualifications:
- 🎓 Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- 📜 NCCPA Certification
- ✅ Active New York PA License with DEA & prescriptive authority
- 🧠 1–2 years of urology or surgical specialty experience preferred (new grads with strong rotations may be considered)
- 📋 BLS & ACLS certifications required
