MRI Technologist

● About Facility:
o 601 N. Elm Street, High Point, NC 27262
o 351 licensed beds
o No Trauma Designation
o Teaching Hospital
o Chest Pain Center
o Stroke Center
● Department Information:
o Census? Average patients/day? 27/day
o Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o ED, IP, OP
● Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
o BLS, ARRT- MR, ARMRIT (also accept)
● Skills required:
o Experience with ED, inpatients and outpatients.
o IV skills; pacemaker (preferred)
o EPIC (preferred)
● Support within the Department:
o Transport during the day (0730-1800)
● Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC
o Department specific Equipment: Siemens Vida 3T and Espree 1.5T
● Floating:
o None
● Orientation (facility and unit):
o NEO, 2 days departmental
● Scheduling:
o Weekend rotation: Schedule is Thurs, Fri, Sat
o On call? If so, what is that schedule? Once every 5th Sunday (Sun 0700- Mon 0700)
▪ Call back time? 45 minutes
▪ Sleep room? Yes, would have to reserve
o Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays – if they fall in the assignment
o RTO: Manager approval
o Shift times: 3-12s
o Schedule cycle: every 5 weeks
