Clinic RN – Pediatrics (Ambulatory) – Glenwood Springs, CO
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Starts 05/05/2026)
Shift: 5x8-Hour Days | Possible rotating Saturday mornings

Job Summary
Seeking a highly experienced, Bilingual (English/Spanish) Pediatric RN for their busy ambulatory outpatient clinic. This role is designed for a pediatric specialist who excels in a fast-paced clinic environment, providing wellness checks, acute care visits, and chronic disease management for the local community. You will be responsible for a wide range of clinical tasks, from administering complex vaccine schedules to performing point-of-care testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Pediatric Clinical Care: Perform comprehensive intake and assessments for pediatric patients ranging from neonates to adolescents.
- Immunization Management: Administer age-appropriate pediatric vaccines according to the CDC schedule, ensuring proper documentation and parental education.
- CLIA Waived Testing: Conduct and interpret point-of-care tests, including rapid strep, flu, RSV, and glucose monitoring.
- Procedural Skills: Perform pediatric blood draws (venipuncture and capillary) and assist with minor in-clinic procedures.
- Bilingual Patient Advocacy: Act as a primary clinical communicator for Spanish-speaking families, ensuring clear understanding of diagnoses, medication instructions, and follow-up care.
- Documentation: Utilize the Athena EMR system for all clinical charting and coordination.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of dedicated Pediatric Ambulatory/Outpatient Clinic experience. (Hospital-based Peds experience is valued, but Clinic experience is mandatory).
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a hard requirement.
- Licensure: Active Colorado (CO) RN License / Compact
- Certification: BLS (AHA Only) is required.
- Skills: Expert knowledge of pediatric vaccine protocols and CLIA waived testing procedures.
