Description
Travel Rate with OT:
Hourly: $33.82
OT: $65.00
Lodging: $770
M&I: $476
Estimated Weekly Gross: $3,118.80
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, with recent inpatient psych experience within the last 3 months
- Recent adult forensic/behavioral health experience, including all age groups
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations; comfortable with forensic patient populations
- Flexibility to float to other units and take charge shifts
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on complex psychiatric care
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with co-occurring disorders treatment
- Certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention)
- Prior supervisory experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Active Vermont or Compact state RN license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience working in adult forensic or intensive psychiatric units within the last 3 months
- Experience with medically assisted withdrawal and stabilization
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to start on 4/13/2026, with no exceptions
- Candidates residing within 35 miles of Brattleboro will be eligible for a 10% rate reduction; must include address or driver’s license in submission
- Must include all required documentation, including psych skills checklist and supervisory references
- Willingness to work scheduled shifts as required
