Description
Immediate need for a talented RN Clinical Nurse – Advanced Heart Failure & Palliative Care. This is a Full-Time opportunity with long-term potential, located in Augusta, Georgia 30912.
Pay Range: $33 – $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Must Have Skills
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiology, heart failure, palliative care, or acute care setting
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities
• Strong patient advocacy and compassionate care approach
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients with advanced heart failure and palliative care needs
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor for changes in condition
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and cardiac-related treatments as prescribed
• Assist with procedures, admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Educate patients and families on disease management, symptom control, and end-of-life care options
• Collaborate with cardiologists, palliative care specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Monitor and manage symptoms including pain, shortness of breath, and fatigue
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and quality of life while supporting goals-of-care discussions and advance care planning
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience in heart failure management or palliative care
• Specialty certifications such as PCCN, CHPN, or equivalent
